T Projects are delighted to be working with Llewelyn Davies, lead Architects for the design of the new ‘Our Hospital’ project in Jersey, in the Channel Islands.
One of the largest public projects ever undertaken in Jersey in the Channel Islands, with an associated budget of £804m, has been granted full planning permission following the publication of the Planning Inspector’s report recommending approval, and subsequent formal consent by Jersey’s Minister of the Environment.
Designed by Llewelyn Davies, the 70,000 sq m Our Hospital Project (OHP) can now move forward to deliver a first-class facility that will provide the best in healthcare when it becomes fully operational by late 2026.
The Design and Delivery Partner of the OHP is a joint venture partnership between ROK and FCC Construcción known as ROK FCC JV. As Lead Architects, Llewelyn Davies was originally employed in July 2020 to assist with the evaluation and selection of five shortlisted sites. From November 2020 through to the submission of the detailed application exactly one year later, under Project Director, Stephen Featherstone and Lead Clinical Director, Robert Etchell, the planning and design of OHP has been developed with extensive public and clinical engagement.
